Second Industrial Ethernet Conference in Paris

 

Following to the success of the first conference in June 2009, the Ethernet Powerlink Standardization Group will give a second Industrial Ethernet conference. This event will take place on 2010 October 7. in Paris.

The main topic will be machine safety. International certification agency Bureau Veritas will present the new European machine safety guidelines and explain their consequences for machine manufacturers and end users. openSAFETY, the first totally open and bus independent safety protocole worldwide, will be on the agenda, too.

Other issues around Industrial Ethernet will be presented and discussed, too. Company IXXAT will give a talk about the various Industrial Ethernet technologies. Established companies like Alstom, B&R, Harting, Hilscher, among others, will present application examples with their own solutions. Also note that company Cyberio will give a talk about predictive maintenance with POWERLINK and CANopen.
